3 – Managing photos with DxO PhotoLab

DxO PhotoLab relies on the OS file system. Unlike software with a catalog, it is not necessary to import photos.

Metadata is used to describe e.g. the content of a files. In photos, metadata include exposure settings, keywords and much more.

DxO PhotoLab’s sorting and filtering options allow all combinations of displaying/hiding images in the Image Explorer.

DxO PhotoLab image search is based on EXIF tags. Each new folder is indexed automatically. The search is performed on all image folders.
